LOK Exercise 35 -- Exchanging Feelings, p. 294 (Next in Series G is #36)

Entertain a positive or negative feeling and let it intensify. Explore various ways of doing this; for example, 'adding in' images, sound, or thoughts. Contact not only the 'content' of the feeling, but also its specific qualities of sharpness, orientation, and aliveness. When the feeling is fully energized, 'exchange' it without hesitation for its opposite. If necessary, spend some time building up this new feeling. Repeat this exercise many times at different tempos. You can also apply it in daily life to transform negative feelings and emotions. Note: Personal instruction can help deepen this exercise.
